The Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), FCT Chapter, Stanley Ogadigo, fnipr, on Tuesday received the Chairman/CEO of Drawbridge Communication Management Company, Mr. Hassan Abdul, mnipr, at the Chapter’s Secretariat Board Room, Abuja, to discuss matters relating to the development of the Chapter and the advancement of professional public relations practice, especially, on the area of consultancy services.
A major focus of the meeting was the forthcoming Professional Public Relations Consultancy Training, designed to equip NIPR members with the requisite knowledge and skills to establish and manage successful PR consulting firms. The training will also provide professional development opportunities for practitioners who are already practising PR consulting to enable them keep pace with emerging trends and innovations in the rapidly evolving public relations landscape.
Speaking during the meeting, Ogadigo expressed appreciation to Mr. Abdul for his recommitment and dedication to the initiative. He described Drawbridge as a valued partner and assured the organization of the Chapter’s full support towards the successful delivery of the maiden edition of the PR Consultancy Training.
The meeting also reviewed plans for initial take-off of the project and explored the possibility of a free webinar to teach the basics in preparation for the main physical training.
