ONDO PLANE CRASH: ASHLEE MOMOH FOUNDATION COMMISERATES WITH NIGERIAN AIR FORCE, BEREAVED FAMILIES

The Ashlee Momoh Foundation (AMF) has expressed profound shock and deep heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian Air Force, and to the families, colleagues and loved ones of the gallant officers who lost their lives in the tragic plane crash in Ondo State.
The Foundation described the incident as an irreparable loss to the nation and to the Nigerian military.
In a condolence message, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, *Princess Ashlee Omonegho Momoh*, on behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of the Foundation, shared her deepest sympathies with the bereaved families and the entire Air Force family.
In her statement, Princess Momoh said: “On behalf of the Ashlee Momoh Foundation, I share my most heartfelt sympathy with the Nigerian Air Force and the families of our departed officers who paid the supreme price in the unfortunate Ondo plane crash”.
“This irreparable loss is unfortunate, deeply saddening, and painful. It is a loss that will linger for a long time in our hearts as a nation. These were brave men who dedicated their lives to the service and protection of our dear country”.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families they left behind, their colleagues, and the Chief of the Air Staff at this very difficult time. May the Almighty grant their souls eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
Princess Momoh further called on the appropriate authorities to critically look into the circumstances surrounding the crash and to seek a lasting solution to forestall future occurrences.
“While we mourn, we also call on the relevant authorities, particularly the Nigerian Air Force and the Ministry of Defence, to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into this tragic incident. We must critically examine the matter and seek lasting solutions to prevent such painful occurrences in the future. The safety of our gallant officers must remain paramount,” she added.
The Ashlee Momoh Foundation stands in solidarity with the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Ministry of defense and prays for the repose of the souls of the fallen heroes.
