Osun Osogbo Festival: Osun Amotekun Deploys Personnel to Ensure Safety and Security

As the ancient city of Osogbo prepares for the annual Osun Osogbo festival, the Osun Amotekun Corps has announced the deployment of its personnel to protect lives and property during and after the Osun Osogbo Festival.
The deployment is aimed at ensuring a peaceful and successful celebration of the festival, which attracts thousands of devotees and tourists all over the world.
Osun Amotekun assured of stationing personnel at strategic locations to prevent and respond to any security breaches.
According to the press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo by the Corps Chairman, Rtd AIG Olawale Abass and the Corps Commander, Dr Omoyele Adekunle, warned criminals to stay away from Osun, emphasizing the Corps’ commitment to maintaining law and order.
They urged festival-goers to cooperate with security personnel and report any suspicious activities while assuring the public that the Corps is well-equipped and ready to handle any situation that may arise.
With the deployment of Osun Amotekun personnel, residents and visitors can enjoy the festival with confidence, knowing that their safety and security are guaranteed, they assured.
