The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced a new date for its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, shifting it from March 13 to March 15.

In a notice issued on Sunday, the party’s National Secretary, Sunday Udeh-Okoye, stated that the rescheduling would allow time to conclude pending congresses at zonal, state, local government, and ward levels.

He added that the decision was also aimed at enabling further consultations to ensure a smooth and well-organized meeting, considering other planned party activities.

According to Udeh-Okoye, the National Working Committee (NWC) made the decision after consulting with key party stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees (BoT), the PDP Governors’ Forum, and the PDP National Assembly Caucus.

“All NEC members should take note of the change and adjust their schedules accordingly,” he said, apologizing for any inconvenience caused.
