Sarah Martins Urges Blessing CEO to Seek Late Bimbo’s Forgiveness

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has urged social media personality Blessing CEO to seek forgiveness from the late Bimbo Ogbonna following her emotional public apology over past remarks and actions.

Martins made the appeal in a statement shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in response to Blessing CEO’s tearful video in which she apologised to people she had hurt.

The actress insisted that genuine repentance should begin with a visit to the grave of Bimbo, the late wife of businessman Ikechukwu Darlington, popularly known as IVD.

According to Martins, Blessing CEO must acknowledge the pain caused by her previous comments about the deceased and her family.

She described the influencer’s past remarks and actions, particularly those involving the late Bimbo, as insensitive and difficult to overlook.

Martins further encouraged Blessing CEO to seek divine forgiveness, stressing that genuine remorse goes beyond public apologies and requires accountability and a willingness to change.

She noted that while people who were hurt might eventually forgive her, true healing and redemption could only come through sincere repentance.

The actress also expressed hope that Blessing CEO would find peace and undergo a positive transformation.

Blessing CEO had earlier broken down in tears in an Instagram video, apologising to Nigerians and individuals she might have offended through her words and actions.

The relationship influencer admitted that she had spoken carelessly about pain she had never personally experienced.

Her apology comes amid grief over the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan, who reportedly died following an asthma attack while she was in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.

The renewed controversy has brought back public attention to Blessing CEO’s earlier dispute with Bimbo Ogbonna’s family.

Martins’ reaction has added another dimension to the ongoing public discussion surrounding the influencer’s apology and her efforts to make amends.
