TB Joshua Foundation to Empower 30 Youths with Skills
The TB Joshua Foundation (TBJF) will empower 30 youths with scholarships and business skills to sustain TB Joshua’s legacy.
The Director of the foundation, Ms. Sarah Joshua, made the announcement Tuesday at the Youth Convention of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), held at the SCOAN headquarters in Ikotun Egbe, Lagos State.
The late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua), who founded SCOAN and was known for evangelism, humanitarian services, and philanthropy, is honored by this foundation.
The convention, attended by over 3,000 people, aimed to reposition youths for greater accomplishments under the theme: “Legacy of Purpose – Investing in a Life that Outlives Us.” It featured dance, songs, drama, and discussions to guide the youth.
Sarah Joshua said the foundation was established not only to honor the SCOAN founder but also to rekindle charity. The 30 beneficiaries were selected based on the quality of their proposals and will receive tertiary education scholarships or business skills training and start-up capital.
In her remarks, the widow of TB Joshua and Leader of SCOAN, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, encouraged the youth to embrace transformation and innovation, emphasizing the convention’s alignment with her late husband’s concerns for youth empowerment.
