Woman Accuses Man She Met on Facebook of Stealing Her Phone During Date

A woman, Lucy Paul, has accused a man she met on Facebook of allegedly stealing her phone after inviting her on a date.

Paul took to Facebook to seek public assistance in locating the man, whom she identified by his Facebook name, Fidelis DC.

According to her account, the incident occurred on October 6, 2026, after the man allegedly asked her out on a date.

She claimed that during their meeting, the man requested her phone to make an urgent call before stepping outside with it.

Paul said she never saw him again after he left with the phone.

In a post accompanied by the man’s photographs and Facebook profile, she appealed to social media users to help circulate the information in a bid to locate him.

“Please, this man right here stole my phone on the 6th of October 2026,” she wrote.

“I met him here. He asked me out on a date, then asked for my phone to make an urgent call. He stepped out while making the call, and that’s the last time I saw him.

“Please help me share this post until he is caught,” she added.

The allegation has not been independently verified, and it is unclear whether a formal complaint has been lodged with the police.
