Foundation distributes free UTME forms to 200 students in Badagry
An NGO, Ejalonibu Foundation, on Sunday distributed free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms and e-PINs (Scratch Cards) to 250 students in Badagry.
Addressing newsmen, Mr Wusu Ejalonibu, the Founder of the foundation, said the gesture was to encourage education development in Badagry and Lagos State.
According to him, every year, the foundation rolls out JAMB forms to interested students to encourage youths in their future career.
“Also, we have pre-jamb training programme to prepare students sitting for the examination so that they won’t be jittery during the examination.
“Apart from this, the foundation will also reward students who score high marks when the results come out.
“We reward students who want to study Medicine, Law, Mass Communication and teachers education who performed excellently in the examination by giving them scholarships.
“As a responsible and responsive NGO, we take education as one of our priorities. No nation can develop without educating its citizens.
“This is why we give out JAMB forms free and it is to remind the students that they have to take their studies seriously,” he said
