Tinubu Launches 20 Locally-Made CNG Buses at Presidential Villa
President Bola Tinubu has officially launched 20 locally-manufactured Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Produced by Innoson Motors, these buses are expected to alleviate transportation challenges in the Federal Capital Territory.
During a brief pause from a Federal Executive Council meeting, the President oversaw the commissioning of five of these CNG buses in the villa’s forecourt.
This initiative responds to demands from the organized Labour movement following the subsidy removal by the Federal Government on May 29, 2023.
Chief Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman and CEO of Innoson Motors, had met with President Tinubu at the State House last week.
