EFCC Arrests 7 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested seven individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Abuja.

The commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrests in a statement issued on Thursday.

According to Oyewale, the suspects were apprehended in coordinated operations at Lifecamp and Kubwa areas of the Federal Capital Territory following credible intelligence linking them to online fraud activities.

“Items recovered from the suspects include eight luxury vehicles, expensive laptops, and high-end mobile phones,” he disclosed.

Oyewale added that the suspects would be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
