Veteran Nollywood actress, Shaffy Bello, has offered candid insights into her love life, revealing her past experiences with younger men and her evolving views on relationships and marriage.

Speaking during a recent episode of the Dear Ife series, which was shared via X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, the ageless screen diva disclosed that she continues to attract admirers across generations—many of whom slide into her social media messages.

“Men slide into my DM — over 50 and even younger men,” she said, adding with a laugh, “It’s flattering, but the thing is, some of them are badly behaved. Some will tell me, ‘Hi, dear.’”

Shaffy didn’t hold back as she reflected on a previous relationship with a younger man, describing it as a fun experience that has since run its course.

“There is no need for me to date a younger man. I have dated a younger man and don’t want to do it again. What I want now is different. When I dated a younger man, I was having fun. It was for a season, and the season is over, but there is nothing wrong with it,” she said.

Now in a new chapter of her life, the actress said she is open to the idea of getting married again, though she noted that her views on marriage have changed over time.

“What I want now is marriage; I don’t mind marriage. But I have a different opinion when it comes to marriage. I think a lot of people are rigid when it comes to marriage,” she stated.
