Nigerian Breweries Hosts Glamorous Victory Dinner for Super Falcons After 10th WAFCON Title Win

It was a night of glamour, gratitude, and celebration as Nigerian Breweries Plc hosted a special victory dinner in honour of the Super Falcons, following their triumphant win at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON)—their record-extending 10th continental title.

The exclusive event took place on Wednesday, June 30, 2025, at the Sky Lounge of Eko Hotels, Lagos, and brought together football stars, sports officials, entertainers, and corporate executives for an unforgettable evening.

Hosted by popular media personality and comedienne KieKie, the evening opened with a vibrant dance performance that set the tone for the celebration. Guests were treated to an exciting music game segment, adding a playful twist that engaged both the players and attendees.

Each member of the squad, along with the coaching staff, medical team, and administrative personnel, was individually recognised for their role in the team’s success—earning applause and heartfelt appreciation from the audience.

Also in attendance was the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, who praised the Falcons for their resilience, unity, and excellence throughout the tournament.

“This team has once again demonstrated the true spirit of Nigerian football. Their determination and commitment have made the entire nation proud,” Gusau said during his remarks.

The musical highlight of the evening came with a soulful performance by Mavin Records artist, Johnny Drille, whose set had the players and guests on their feet. The celebration continued late into the night with an electrifying after-party hyped by media personality Do2dtun.

Earlier in the day, the Super Falcons were given a hero’s welcome at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, where traditional drummers and dancers joined excited fans to receive the champions. From there, the team visited the Nigerian Breweries headquarters in Iganmu before heading to the grand dinner.
