Indian Passport Services Suspended for Maintenance Until September 2
Indian passport services will be unavailable for five days starting August 29, 2024, due to scheduled technical maintenance, according to a statement by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
The Passport Seva Portal will be down from August 29, 2024, at 20:00 IST (18:30 UAE time) until September 2, 2024, at 06:00 IST (04:30 UAE time). As a result, passport and related services, including TATKAAL and Police Clearance Certificates (PCC), will not be provided by the embassy or at BLS International centers across the UAE during this period.
The embassy also mentioned that applicants with appointments scheduled for August 30 and 31 will be given new dates between September 2 and 8, 2024. Those unable to attend on the revised dates can visit any BLS center after their new appointment date and submit their applications as walk-ins, with no separate appointment required.
Consular and visa services will remain unaffected and continue as scheduled at all BLS centers on August 30 and 31, the statement clarified.
