Man Killed in Christmas Day Stabbing in Wolverhampton

A 30-year-old man has been stabbed to death in the early hours of Christmas Day in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.

West Midlands Police said officers were called to Burcot Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. on December 25, following reports that a man had been attacked. On arrival, police found the victim with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police confirmed that two men, aged 35 and 58, have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.

Detective Chief Superintendent Ed Foster said investigations were at an early stage, with officers carrying out urgent enquiries, including forensic examinations, reviewing CCTV footage, and speaking with potential witnesses.

He appealed to members of the public who may have information about the incident to come forward and assist the investigation.
