Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 30 campaign vehicles to the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Imo State to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The vehicles were presented on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, during the inauguration of the movement’s Imo State chapter at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kalu Square in Owerri.

The movement also received 30 generators, 60 public-address speakers and other campaign materials to facilitate grassroots mobilisation across the state.

Tompolo, the movement’s Grand Patron, was represented at the event by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi.

Pondi said the resources were provided to support Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and the movement’s efforts to mobilise support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

He reaffirmed Tompolo’s confidence in the President’s leadership, describing his economic reforms as necessary steps towards Nigeria’s long-term development.

Pondi added that the movement was prepared to work with the governor and other political stakeholders to take the President’s campaign directly to households and communities across Imo State.

Governor Uzodimma commended Tompolo for supporting the initiative and pledged his administration’s cooperation with the movement to advance Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

The governor said direct engagement with residents was essential to communicating government policies, highlighting achievements and encouraging political participation across the state’s 27 local government areas.

Uzodimma, who also serves as secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, said his assessment of the Tinubu administration’s performance had convinced him that the President deserved another term to consolidate ongoing reforms and complete outstanding programmes.

He described the movement as a partner in the effort to secure Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The inauguration was attended by several political figures, including the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro; the movement’s National Coordinator, Sunday Adekanbi Asuku; Imo State APC Chairman Austin Onyedebelu; party stakeholders and supporters.

Asuku urged Nigerians to remain patient with the administration’s economic reforms, arguing that the difficulties associated with the changes would eventually give way to long-term benefits.

He said the movement would intensify its grassroots campaign by engaging voters from door to door, town to town and community to community.

The inauguration of the Imo chapter is part of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s nationwide mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
