The 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) has introduced a new category, ‘Best Music Score,’ to recognize outstanding film soundtracks
Renowned film director and producer Femi Odugbemi, who leads the panel of judges, emphasized the global recognition of African storytelling, stating, “African filmmakers are telling bold, diverse, and compelling stories that captivate audiences both home and abroad. Make no mistake, the world is watching.”
Winners in 18 categories will be determined by the AMVCA jury, while fans can vote for the remaining 10 categories on the Africa Magic website.
The AMVCA continues to celebrate excellence in African cinema, providing a platform for filmmakers to showcase their creativity to a global audience.
