APC Chieftain Jesutega Onokpasa Passes Away Unexpectedly

Jesutega Onokpasa, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away. News of his death was shared on social media by Okezie J. Atañi, a known pro-APC commentator. The cause of death is yet to be disclosed.

Onokpasa was a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in 2023 and became widely known for his strong political views and media appearances in support of President Bola Tinubu. He frequently featured on national television, defending government policies with passion and conviction.

One of his most talked-about moments came during a fiery on-air debate with Arise TV journalist, Rufai Oseni, in October 2023, where he fervently backed the Tinubu administration’s stance on national issues.

In a surprising turn, however, Onokpasa recently announced he would not support Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, citing rising insecurity, economic struggles, and what he perceived as neglect of loyal party members.
