BBNaija’s JMK Decries 8-Hour Lagos Traffic Nightmare

Reality TV star Jumoke Adedoyin, popularly known as JMK, has expressed frustration over spending eight hours in Lagos traffic, describing the experience as overwhelming.

JMK shared her ordeal on social media, revealing that she landed in Lagos at 4 p.m. but was still stuck on the road past midnight.

The prolonged gridlock was worsened by the temporary closure of Independence Bridge for maintenance, leaving commuters stranded for hours.

“I’ve never experienced traffic like this in my life. Landed in Lagos at 4 p.m… it’s 1:20 a.m., and I’m STILL not home. 8 HOURS in traffic? This city is actually wild. Lagos will humble you with no warning,” JMK lamented.

Her experience highlights the persistent traffic challenges in Lagos, often exacerbated by poor road conditions and inefficient management. Many residents have called on the government to improve traffic flow and provide alternative routes during major road maintenance projects.
