Nigerian social media personality and relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has apologised to people she may have hurt through her past comments, saying she has learnt a painful lesson following the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan.

The influencer made the apology in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, where she broke down in tears while reflecting on her past actions and personal struggles.

Blessing CEO, who was released on bail in late October after spending months in custody over separate fraud allegations, said she regretted speaking about other people’s pain without fully understanding their experiences.

“I’m so sorry for speaking about the pain I know nothing about. I’m so sorry for speaking about the pain I’ve never felt. I’m sorry for speaking about it carelessly,” she said.

She admitted that words alone were insufficient to demonstrate genuine remorse, adding that she was ready to make amends and begin a new chapter in her life.

The social media personality also appealed to those who had withdrawn their support because of her actions, asking for forgiveness.

Addressing her late son, whom she affectionately called Doom Doom, Blessing CEO expressed deep sorrow over his death and regretted not being present when he passed away.

She disclosed that the loss had devastated the family, particularly her mother and Bryan’s siblings, who continued to mourn the deceased.

Blessing CEO also revealed that she and her mother sometimes hid from each other to cry, describing the grief as overwhelming.

Bryan reportedly died in a hospital on June 8, 2026, while his mother was in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Lagos.

The influencer concluded her emotional message by praying for strength to cope with the loss and promising to correct her past mistakes.
