Former Miss Taraba, Comfort Williams, has died, with the news of her demise announced by the management of Prime Planet Event Managers.

Williams reportedly died suddenly on Monday, November 2, 2026. However, the circumstances surrounding her death have not been disclosed.

The former beauty queen was serving as the Assistant Managing Director of Prime Planet Event Managers, the organisation responsible for the Mr and Miss Taraba beauty pageant, before her death.

Prime Planet announced her passing in a condolence statement, expressing deep sadness over the loss of a valued member of its team.

The organisation described Williams as a beloved former beauty queen whose contributions, presence and memories would remain cherished by the Prime Planet family.

In the statement, the management said the loss had left the organisation devastated, adding that it would continue to hold on to the beautiful memories she left behind.

The organisation also extended its condolences to her family, friends and loved ones, praying for the peaceful repose of her soul.

Williams was crowned the 10th Miss Taraba in 2023. She was later appointed Assistant Managing Director of Prime Planet Event Managers in January 2026 as part of the organisation’s newly constituted leadership team.
