Incoming Baba Aladura Pledges Unreserved Support for A Night With Jesus

The incoming Baba Aladura and Acting Spiritual Father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Senior Most Special Apostle Pastor (Dr.) Gabriel Olayinka Kassim (JP), COMS, has pledged his unreserved support for A Night With Jesus Evangelical Ministry and its annual crusade, affirming his commitment to initiatives dedicated to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Baba made the pledge during a courtesy visit by a delegation of A Night With Jesus Evangelical Ministry, led by the Secretary of its Board of Trustees, Special Apostle Alexander Ogundipe, and comprising Pastor Gideon Oyedepo, Special Apostle Abiodun Ekunola, and Most Senior Apostle Jeremiah Adesewo. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ongoing weeklong burial activities for the immediate past Baba Aladura, His Grace, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo.

Expressing delight at the visit, Dr. Kassim acknowledged his familiarity with the ministry and the positive reports he had received about its annual crusade and other evangelical engagements across the nation.

“I know A Night With Jesus! I have received many calls of commendation about A Night With Jesus and its annual Crusade. Any initiative that proclaims the Gospel of Christ will receive my unreserved support. We will proclaim Christ together,” he said.

The statement signals a strong endorsement of the ministry’s evangelistic mandate as the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide prepares for a new chapter in its leadership.

In his remarks, Special Apostle Ogundipe welcomed Dr. Kassim to Nigeria and congratulated him on his nomination as the next Baba Aladura. He described the nomination as significant to the continuing journey of the Movement and the wider Body of Christ.

“There is no doubting the fact that you are chosen for a time like this in the journey of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church and the Body of Christ at large. We celebrate God in your life and pray for His grace for you to build on the solid foundation that is already being laid for our Church,” Ogundipe said.

He further assured the incoming spiritual leader that A Night With Jesus Evangelical Ministry, provisionally chaired by the Spiritual Father, would make itself available as an instrument for actualising God’s purpose for the Church under his leadership.

Also speaking at the meeting, Pastor Gideon Oyedepo, founder and Senior Pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Bible Church, acknowledged the grace of God in the life of Baba Aladura, and his belief that God will use him effectually for the growth of the Church.

“I know Baba, and I am relieved that where in good hands. I know God will use you to move things further forward in the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church. We are ready and waiting to work with you.” He concluded, bidding the Baba Aladura to continue to pray for the ministry and the Conference.

Baba Aladura’s pledge of support is expected to encourage the ministry as it continues its mission of proclaiming Christ and bringing Christians together across denominational boundaries, especially as the 20th anniversary of the annual ANWJ Crusade beckons.

The engagement also reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the spiritual life of the Church and advancing the Gospel as the Movement honours the legacy of its departed spiritual leader and looks towards its next phase of leadership.
