Nigerian commodities export and recycling company, Neveah Limited, has achieved a major operational milestone after securing Integrated Management System (IMS) certification for three internationally recognised standards — ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety.
The company’s Managing Director, Mr Ibidapo Lawal, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, describing the achievement as a significant step in Neveah’s pursuit of operational excellence, sustainable manufacturing and adherence to global best practices.
According to Lawal, the certifications demonstrate the company’s commitment to delivering quality products, protecting the environment and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for employees, contractors, partners and other stakeholders.
“Securing these ISO certifications is an important validation of the systems, discipline and culture we are building at Neveah.
“As we continue to scale our recycling and manufacturing operations, our focus remains clear: to operate responsibly, deliver consistent value to our customers, protect the environment, and provide a safe workplace for our people.
“This milestone strengthens our position as a trusted Nigerian company competing to global standards,” he said.
Lawal noted that the certifications came at a critical period as Neveah continues to expand its investments in recycling, metals processing and value-added manufacturing.
He explained that with increasing global demand for responsibly sourced and sustainably produced materials, the certifications would further strengthen the company’s credibility among customers, financial institutions, development partners, regulators and international stakeholders.
“Neveah Limited remains committed to continuous improvement and will continue to strengthen its management systems, operational controls, environmental practices and health and safety standards across all areas of the business,” he said.
The ISO certifications serve as internationally recognised evidence that organisations meet established standards for quality, safety, efficiency and responsible business practices.
The ISO 9001 certification highlights Neveah’s commitment to maintaining consistent quality, improving customer satisfaction, enhancing processes and implementing effective operational controls.
The ISO 14001 certification reflects the company’s focus on responsible environmental management, waste reduction, efficient use of resources and sustainable production methods.
Similarly, the ISO 45001 certification confirms Neveah’s dedication to maintaining high occupational health and safety standards across its operations.
The company said the certifications reinforce its ambition to position itself as a globally competitive Nigerian enterprise committed to sustainability, innovation and responsible industrial growth.
