The family of Felix Echezona, a Nigerian man who was shot and killed in Brazil, has announced his burial arrangements.
Echezona was reportedly shot dead in Rio de Janeiro on January 12, 2025. His body has since been repatriated to Nigeria and is currently at the Bishop Shanahan Hospital mortuary in Nsukka, Enugu State.
A requiem mass will be held for him at St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, Umuoshene, Umuida, before his final interment in his hometown, Umuida, in Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, but the tragic incident has left his family and community in mourning.
