Public outrage has erupted in South Africa following the alleged murder of two black women by a white farmer and his employees in Limpopo province.

Maria Makgato, 45, and Lucia Ndlovu, 34, were reportedly shot by farmer Zachariah Johannes Olivier, 60, and his workers Adrian de Wet, 19, and William Musora, 50, while looking for food on a farm near Polokwane in August.

The victims’ bodies were allegedly fed to pigs in an attempt to cover up the crime. The suspects appeared in court for a bail hearing, but Magistrate Ntilane Felleng postponed the decision to November 6 to allow further investigation, keeping the accused in custody.

Protesters gathered outside the Polokwane courthouse, demanding justice and holding placards calling for the denial of bail. Inside, the courtroom was filled with relatives of the victims and the accused, as the media was granted permission to film the proceedingshttps://o24news.com/ due to significant public interest.

The suspects have not yet entered a plea, which will be addressed at the start of the trial.
