Pakistan Downs 6 More Indian Drones Amid Escalating Border Tensions

Pakistan’s military announced Friday that it had shot down six additional Indian Harop drones amid heightened tensions along the India-Pakistan border.

The latest interceptions occurred over Punjab’s Pakpattan and Okara districts, bringing the total number of Indian drones downed in recent days to 77, according to Pakistani defense sources.

The renewed hostilities follow deadly airstrikes by India targeting what it described as “militant infrastructure” linked to last month’s attack on tourists in Kashmir. Pakistan has rejected the accusations and called the strikes unprovoked.

Exchanges of drone activity, missile fire, and clashes along the Line of Control have intensified as both nations accuse each other of violating territorial boundaries and escalating the crisis.

Tensions remain high as diplomatic efforts stall, with both militaries on high alert.
