Regina Daniels Opens Up on Severe Pain, Mobility Challenges as She Celebrates 25th Birthday

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her health challenges, revealing that she has been battling severe pain and difficulty moving around for several months.

The actress disclosed this on Saturday, October 10, as she celebrated her 25th birthday in a video shared on social media.

Daniels, who appeared in a wheelchair, said her health condition had significantly affected her freedom to move around as she wished.

Describing the new phase of her life, the mother of two said she was praying to God for peace and complete healing.

“Hi everyone. It’s my Silver Jubilee. This new phase of my life, I pray to God for total calm. Happy birthday to me,” she said.

The actress explained that what initially appeared to be a minor health issue gradually worsened, leaving her struggling with mobility.

“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this,” she said.

According to Daniels, her condition deteriorated after the last public event she hosted, a Children’s Day carnival.

She disclosed that she had undergone several medical tests in a bid to understand her condition, joking that the repeated procedures had made her feel like a laboratory rat.

“But things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my Children’s Day carnival. It’s been one test after another that I jokingly started calling myself a lab rat,” she said.

Daniels further revealed that the pain had become excruciating, with her ability to walk fluctuating. While she could sometimes move around normally, there were occasions when she struggled to move at all.

“The pain became, how can I explain this? The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I find myself walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she added.

The actress also spoke about the emotional toll of her condition, admitting that she had cried while dealing with the challenges.

She said she continued to look to God for healing, expressing faith that her recovery remained in His hands.

“I cried. I looked on to God for His divine healing, as He alone has the final say on my life,” she said.

In her Instagram post, Daniels acknowledged that seeing her in a wheelchair might come as a shock to some of her followers.

She explained that she decided to speak publicly about her condition to address questions surrounding her prolonged absence from social media and update those who had expressed genuine concern about her wellbeing.

The actress did not disclose the specific medical condition responsible for her symptoms in the post.
