VeryDarkMan Accuses Lagos AIG of Corruption, Dares Authorities to Prove Him Wrong
Social media activist and influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has publicly accused the Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police in charge of Zone 2, Moshood Jimoh, of corruption and abuse of office.
In a video shared on his social media platforms, VDM alleged that the senior police officer orchestrated efforts to frame an innocent man and demanded money to facilitate his release.
The activist claimed he possessed evidence to support his allegations and challenged the police authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly.
“Prove me wrong, and I will gladly go to prison,” he declared, insisting that he was prepared to face the consequences if his claims were found to be false.
VDM further alleged that corruption within the Nigeria Police Force remained widespread, urging the Police Service Commission and other relevant authorities to probe the allegations against the AIG.
The outspoken critic maintained that his intervention was aimed at exposing alleged misconduct and ensuring accountability within the country’s law enforcement agencies.
As of the time of filing this report, the Lagos Police Command and AIG Moshood Jimoh had not publicly responded to the allegations. No independent evidence has yet been presented to substantiate the claims.
