VeryDarkMan Releases ‘Evidence One’ Video After Police IG Challenge Over Kidnapping Claims
Controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has responded to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, after being challenged to provide evidence backing his allegations against some police officers.
VDM released a video titled “Evidence One”, in which he highlighted the case of police officers who were reportedly arraigned over alleged armed robbery and kidnapping.
The activist said the incident featured in the video occurred about two months ago in the same state where he made his initial allegations during a conference organised by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
His response came after the police authorities challenged him to substantiate claims that some highway police officers were allegedly working with kidnappers.
In the video, VDM presented the arraigned officers as evidence that his concerns about misconduct within the police force should not be dismissed.
The activist has continued to call for greater accountability within the Nigeria Police Force, particularly over allegations involving officers and criminal activities.
His latest video is expected to further fuel the ongoing exchange between him and the police authorities over his allegations.
