Fuji music star Taye Currency has revealed that he lost N10 million to Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), a platform he described as an alleged Ponzi scheme that has defrauded several Nigerians under the guise of digital investments.

The singer made the shocking revelation during a recent live performance, where he emotionally narrated how close associates lured him into investing in the platform with promises of high returns.

According to him, he was encouraged by the success stories of his band members, particularly a man named Lateef, who allegedly turned a N200,000 investment into N600,000. Convinced by their testimonies, Taye Currency said he withdrew N10 million he had saved with an insurance company and invested it in CBEX on April 1 — only for the money to disappear without a trace.

“You will hear how CBEX took over N20 million from me and people close to me,” he sang during the performance. “Lateef said he used N200k to collect N600k. That was what pushed me. I withdrew the money I had saved with insurance, N10 million, and invested it on April 1 — but everything vanished.”

He also mentioned that several others around him suffered similar losses, including one Alaba, who allegedly used N1.2 million stolen from a show stage to invest, and another associate who put in his entire N500,000 work fee.

Fuming over the betrayal, Taye Currency warned those who introduced him to the scheme of serious consequences, adding, “If they die well, they won’t rest well.”

CBEX has reportedly swindled many unsuspecting Nigerians with promises of quick returns on crypto-related , raising concerns over the rising wave of financial scams disguised as digital ventures.
