Juventus appoints Luciano Spalletti as new manager after sacking Igor Tudor
Juventus has confirmed the appointment of former Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti as the club’s new manager following the dismissal of Igor Tudor earlier this week.
The Italian giants announced the decision on Thursday, just days after parting ways with Tudor, whose stint ended after Juventus failed to win any of their last eight matches.
In an official statement, the club said: “We are delighted to welcome a coach with such expertise and experience to the Bianconeri family. Welcome to Juventus and good luck, coach!”
Spalletti’s arrival marks Juventus’ third managerial change in 2025, underscoring a period of instability for the Serie A side. The 66-year-old tactician, who led Napoli to the 2022–23 Serie A title, is expected to bring his trademark attacking style and strong leadership to Turin.
Juventus currently sit seventh in the Serie A table despite a 3–1 win over Udinese in midweek. Spalletti’s first match in charge will be against Jamie Vardy’s Cremonese on Saturday.
