Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised married men to avoid keeping malice with their wives, stressing the importance of communication in marriage.

In a post shared on his X account on Friday morning, the actor urged men to address issues through honest conversations rather than silence or resentment.

According to him, men should embrace their role as heads of the home by resolving conflicts peacefully and constructively.

“Men, don’t keep malice with your wife. You’re the head of your home,” he wrote.

Yul added that disagreements in marriage could stem from either partner’s actions and can only be properly resolved through communication.

“It might be her fault or she could be reacting to something you did to her. You can only find out when you communicate,” he stated.

The actor further described avoiding difficult conversations as a sign of weakness, noting that “real men discuss issues no matter how tough they are.”

He concluded by emphasising that communication remains one of the most essential ingredients for a successful marriage.
