Zelenskyy to Urge U.S. Support for Strikes Inside Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced plans to advocate for the use of long-range missiles on targets inside Russia during his upcoming visit to Washington.
In his address on Saturday, Zelenskyy acknowledged that the U.S. and Britain had yet to authorize Ukraine to deploy such weapons. However, he expressed determination to convince international partners, stating, “We are convincing our partners — and we will continue to talk about this next week — that Ukraine needs full long-range capabilities.”
Zelenskyy aims to secure support for Ukraine’s defense strategy in the face of ongoing conflict with Russia.
