Cab Driver Threatens Lawsuit Against Adunni Ade Over Allegations
Cab driver Francis Njoku has threatened to sue actress Adunni Ade following her allegations of theft concerning a package he reportedly failed to deliver.
The dispute began when Adunni accused Njoku of taking off with her package and ignoring her attempts to contact him after completing the trip. In an Instagram post, she stated, “@indrive.ng, I have contacted you for hours but received no response. One of your drivers has stolen my package.”
The post quickly garnered attention, with many users condemning the ride-hailing service for the incident. Adunni later shared that Njoku eventually delivered her package after the company suspended his account and provided screenshots of their conversations.
In a response to Adunni’s claims, Njoku expressed outrage at the damage to his reputation and threatened legal action, saying, “You have tarnished my image… We will see you in court.”
In her defense, Adunni asserted her honesty, stating, “I have never encountered anyone as rude and arrogant as Francis Njoku.” The situation highlights ongoing tensions between service providers and their users in the ride-hailing industry.
