Gombe State has celebrated seven years of transformative leadership under Governor Inuwa Yahaya, highlighting remarkable achievements in infrastructure, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, economic development, and public service delivery.

This is contained in a press release signed by Mr Richard James, Acting Director of Information and Culture, Ministry of Information, Culture and Ethical Orientation, Gombe State, and made available to newsmen.

He said the administration’s achievements are anchored on the Gombe State 10-Year Development Plan, which has provided a roadmap for economic growth, social development, environmental protection, and institutional strengthening.

He noted that among the landmark initiatives of the government are the Gombe Goes Green (3G) Project, road construction and rehabilitation projects, ACReSAL interventions to address erosion challenges, the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, and the Gombe State Geographic Information System (GOGIS), all aimed at promoting sustainable development and economic growth.

He added that the administration has also recorded significant progress in education through the construction and renovation of schools and recruitment of teachers, while retired civil servants have benefited from the payment of outstanding arrears.
