Benue lawmaker offers free JAMB registration to constituents

In a major educational intervention, the Member Representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency of Benue State and Chairman, House Committee on National Inland Waterways, Chief Hon. Pst Ojotu Ojema has announced free JAMB registration for students from his constituency.

In a statement personally signed by him on Saturday, February 1, 2025, Chief Ojema reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education at the grassroots level.

He emphasized that the registration process would be centralized at the Iga-Okpaya ICT Centre to ensure a smooth and transparent exercise, eliminating bureaucratic hurdles.

According to him, all expenses for the registration will be covered directly by his office, and beneficiaries will only need to visit the ICT Centre for registration, which will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Intending beneficiaries from Agatu Local Government Area are to contact his Media Aide, Hon. Olikita Ekani, via WhatsApp at +2348067611242, while those from Apa LGA can reach out to his Media Assistant, Comr. Ojila Yahaya Monday, at 08142467012.

Applicants must provide the following details:
– Name
– Ward
– Phone Number
– Secondary School Statement of Result
– Certificate of Local Government Origin

Only students with a minimum of five credits, including English and Mathematics, will be shortlisted. The pre-registration exercise will last for one week, after which the final list of successful candidates will be published for the actual registration.

Meanwhile, Chief Ojema also extended his goodwill to the people of Apa/Agatu as they step into a new month, wishing them prosperity and progress.
