How Nigerian Man Called Off Wedding After Fiancée Defends Singer Chike Online

A Facebook user, Awuzie Frankline, has claimed that a friend cancelled his proposed wedding after reacting to a comment his fiancée made on social media in defence of Nigerian singer Chike.

According to Frankline, the incident began after unverified social media reports linked the singer to an alleged romantic relationship involving Sandra, the estranged wife of TV personality Frank Edoho. Neither party has confirmed or denied the claims.

In a Facebook post shared on Friday, Frankline alleged that his friend became upset after seeing his fiancée publicly support the singer during the online conversation, leading to the abrupt cancellation of wedding plans.

“My friend saw the lady he wanted to marry defending Chike online and had cancelled the proposed wedding,” he wrote.

He further claimed that the disagreement escalated quickly, with the relationship ending before formal wedding introductions could take place.
