According to local authorities, two helicopters collided mid-air on Sunday morning over the western zone of Rio de Janeiro, killing all six people on board.
The Rio de Janeiro Military Fire Department said one of the helicopters crashed into the parking area of a car dealership, where several electric vehicles caught fire before emergency responders brought the blaze under control.
Police said Oliver Tree, whose full name was Oliver Tree Nickell, was listed among the passengers identified by aviation authorities. However, officials noted that formal identification of the victims was delayed due to the severity of the crash.
Other victims reportedly included passengers Lucas Brito Chaves, Gaspar Prim and Lucas Vignale, along with pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.
